There is no denying that COVID-19 has had a big impact on all of us, affecting both personal lives and businesses around the world. This has led to a lot of uncertainty surrounding services in the UK and how they will be affected, such as which businesses are still allowed to operate and what the businesses still working are doing to keep everyone safe. Though there has been a considerable restriction of services, Grand Union Plumbing & Heating is still able to operate. This is because heating and plumbing services are considered to be key, making our engineers key workers. If you run into a plumbing or heating problem, you can still call on Grand Union Plumbing & Heating to help. We are still able to provide a high-quality service, even whilst working in this unprecedented and worrying time.
We are mindful of limiting the spread of COVID-19 and protecting others. Therefore, we are doing everything in our power to keep staff and customers safe.
How Grand Union Plumbing & Heating is Keeping Staff and Customers Safe
Though our engineers are still able to provide our vast range of heating and plumbing services during COVID-19, that’s not to say that we haven’t made some vital changes. The safety of our team and customers is paramount, which is why we are taking precautions and we have put safety measures in place. Everyone at Grand Union Plumbing & Heating is staying up to date with all COVID-19 developments and working hard to continuously provide services throughout the pandemic. Our aim isn’t to just protect ourselves, but to protect our customers also.

Hand Washing and Hygiene
Everyone knows how important hand washing and hygiene is to limit the spread of the virus, and it’s not something we are taking lightly. We are doing everything we can to stay safe whilst at work and at home. This includes washing hands, using hand sanitiser, wearing masks and cleaning surfaces.
Checking Supplies and Suppliers
At Grand Union Plumbing & Heating, we want to limit any delays in completing jobs. To avoid this as much as possible, we are continually checking supplies and suppliers. Though COVID-19 has undoubtedly had an impact on many industries, we are doing everything we can to make sure our customers aren’t left waiting.
Staying Home If Showing Symptoms
If anyone at Grand Union Plumbing & Heating shows symptoms linked to COVID-19, they are asked to stay at home for an extended period of time. Anyone who does show symptoms will not be working until they are deemed fit to do so.
Limiting Contact With Customers
You’ll know the Grand Union Plumbing & Heating team as being friendly and approachable, but during the current situation we are limiting contact with customers. Though we are still carrying out our plumbing and heating services, we are keeping our distance wherever possible.
